Consumer Unit & Garden Electrics
We have recently completed the replacement of an old Consumer Unit for a fully compliant RCBO Consumer Unit with Surge Protection at a property in Corfe Mullen, Dorset.
At the same time as replacing the Consumer Unit we also, replaced all of the Light Switches and Sockets with either Click Mode White or Click Deco Stainless Steel alternatives. As well as this we installed a new Outside IP Rated 2 gang socket at the front of the Property as well moving a garden light from the back of the property to the front (both the socket and light, as requested by the customer, can be switched from inside the property via a 2 gang switch located by the front door) and installing 2 new PIR operated floodlights at the back of the property covering the decking area and garden.
All circuits were fully tested and the work certified as required under Part P of the Building Regulations.

We were asked to add new sockets and replacement / additional lighting in a property in YeovilWe extended one of the existing ring main circuits and added additional sockets with some having dual USB pointsWe also replaced the existing single Flourescent light fitting in the kitchen with 5 downlights with LED lamps as well as installing 7 additional LED downlights in the living area, changing cabling to allow the re-configuration of the switching so these could be dimmed (split left and right hand side of the room), whilst leaving the existing light switching in place. This was achieved using a modular light switch with 2 x 1 gang light switches and 2 x dimmer switches in a single unit.We also added new cabling and installed track lighting in the Conservatory - we installed 3 channel track that enabled the control of different lights independently of each other so they didn't all have to be on at the same time

We were asked to help a village hall due to the refurbishment of the kitchen facilities.
The existing consumer unit was to be replaced with a new one whilst at the same time this was to be moved to a different part of the building.
As part of the work all circuits needed to be extended and this was completed as required with the cabling then being enclosed in trunking and secured using fire rated clips.
All work was fully tested and a certificate was provided along with an updated board schedule.

We have recently completed the electrical work on a bathroom refurbishment at a property in Upton, Dorset.
All switches (pullcords) in the existing bathroom were to be removed and all switches were to be located outside of the room.
The work included:
Remove redundant Shower Supply
Remove old Lighting
Install 5 new IP Rated LED Downlights
Install New In-Line Extract Fan with Overrun Timer
Install Switched Supply for Heated Towel Rail
Install Supply for a Cabinet Light

We are working on a property in Wimborne which is being refurbished and due to the age of the existing electrics some additional work is required but we are:
Replacing the upstairs socket circuit with a new ring main circuit and additional sockets
Replacing all existing light switches / sockets with new switched / sockets including USB sockets
Installing new Lights, wall light and extract fan in the Bathroom with the Wall Light being operated via a Movement Sensor switch
Installing new electrics for a new kitchen extension
Installing new Smoke, Heat & CO2 Detectors
Installing new lighting in the roof space
Replacing the old consumer unit with a new 10way RCBO Consumer Unit
A full installation certificate will be competed for the works as required under Part P of the Building Regulations

At the same time as replacing the Consumer Unit we also installed a new supply for an Outside IP Rated 2 gang socket at the back of the property as well as installing additional sockets and replacing some existing sockets with 2 gang dual USB sockets and a new light switch.
All circuits were fully tested and the work certified as required under Part P of the Building Regulations.
